How Not To serve

Hello Readers,

Its been a while i Posted Last in fact i was feeling down some few days ago.
well the political environment is tensed, with decamping of Political office holders from ruling party(PDP) to a newly formed alliance (APC) five out of seven dis-grunted Governor defected two of which abstain. Niger state Babagida Aliyu and his Gigawa state Counterpart Sule Lamido.
HOW NOT TO SERVE...........

well lets keep our finger across    2015 is just by the corner.. i keep on saying the actual Power belong to the good people of this great Nation.

Nigerian Have the power to decides who rule them. Beside, it high time Nation Assemble repeal some of the Obnoxious laws in Electoral bill. INEC should be able to accredit an independent candidate whose pedigree of integrity is impeccable.

Nigerians should vote candidate of virtues, upright character Not withstanding where the candidate hails from in geo-political setting.

the era of distributing bags of rice , ankara, okada, Money , sawing matching to induce votes should be totally put to a stop by the electorate.people should be allowed to vote according to their conscience. like a popular slogan; 'one man one vote'
God bless Nigeria.

Yes we can.

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Police in Pittsburgh said a homeless man was found squatting in a luxury hotel's $2,500-per-night presidential suite.
Investigators said guests at the Omni William Penn Hotel opened the door to the suite Tuesday and were shocked to discover Jeffrey Watson, 48, asleep on a couch, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Thursday.
Watson was arrested and charged with trespass and theft of services. He told police he is from Los Angeles and has been in Pittsburgh for more than a month.
The arrest report said Watson told officers he sleeps "wherever he can locate somewhere comfortable to rest his head."

Hotel officials said they are not sure how Watson ended up in the suite, but the door had been programmed to unlock earlier in the day for an event.

WHO IS WRONG?....... GOVERNOR CHIME OR FEMI FALANA

The goings on in Enugu State where the First Lady, Clara Chime has been on lock down for months now is one that is very troubling. Reports have it that the woman is mentally unstable but it appears that is not all to the issue as she and her family members have not been allowed to seek help for her.

Human rights activist, Femi Falana, has dismissed the claims by Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State that he did not receive a brief from his wife to represent her and help rescue her from the illegal detention imposed on her by her husband, the governor.

“When Governor Chime was recently medically challenged he was not subjected to solitary confinement in the Government House but flown abroad for adequate medical treatment.”

“I wish to say, without any fear of contradiction, that I have her instructions in writing to challenge her illegal detention at the Government House, Enugu.
“Through the assistance of some of the security personnel in the Government House she has since spoken to me on phone to confirm her instructions…

“Indeed, Mrs Chime’s mother and her personal physician have also been in touch with me urging me to take all appropriate measures to secure her freedom from Governor Chime‘s illegal confinement.”
Falana revealed in a statement on Wednesday. He also pointed out that contrary to the governor’s diversionary statement, he does not need the instructions of citizens to demand for their release.
“Without any instructions I am duty bound to file cases in court to secure the enforcement of the fundamental rights of detainees to personal liberty. For the avoidance of doubt, the doctrine of locus standi in the area of human rights has been abolished by the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement Procedure) Rules 2009 which came into force on December 1, 2009,” he said.

Mr. Falana noted that at the press conference Governor Chime succeeded in confirming the allegation that he has held his wife in illegal custody but attempted to justify the illegality by saying his wife has “a medical challenge”.
Falana said: “Mr Chime has conspired with his private physicians to sentence his wife to unwarranted mental torture and psychological trauma in a room in the Government House for the past four months. If Chime’s claim is correct that the wife is non compos mentis, when was the Enugu Government House converted to a psychiatric hospital? AS the saga continues only time will tell who is telling the truth between the two parties.

“Having confirmed the allegation that he has willfully infringed the fundamental rights of his wife to personal liberty, dignity of the person and freedom of movement, Governor Chime should release his wife from illegal custody [and] be warned not to divert attention from the brutal abuse of the rights of his wife.

“If he and his doctors are convinced that she is medically challenged they should send her to a hospital for quick recovery!”
Falana thanked the Director-General of the SSS who, he said, has directed security personnel attached to the Government House to desist from teaming up with the Governor to hold his wife hostage.
